This is a completed toy designed for children and/or collectors.
The first-generation Maxima, an upscale version of the 910 model Bluebird from Japan's sixth generation, became Nissan North America's premium offering. It came in two variants: a sedan and a station wagon, the latter being 345 mm longer than the Japanese version (AD wagon).
While the Maxima wagon was primarily a family car in the U.S., Hot Wheels transformed it into a drift machine. They swapped the engine for a twin-turbo RB26 from the Skyline GT-R, modified the exterior with Obafen, and equipped it with "Super Advan" style wheels, a design popular in 1990s Japan, marking a unique departure from the Maxima's traditional look.
