With not just one but TWO new Limited Edition and HLJ-exclusive colors available, fans of Heisei-Era Godzilla and fans of HLJ alike won't want to miss this exciting new product!
Available from Friday, July 10th 2026, these two special sofubi figures are only available in limited quantities on a first-come, first-serve so we encourage collectors to place your orders as soon as possible!
MSS Godzilla EX Godzilla (2001) HLJ Image Clear Ver.
This clear version of the 'HLJ Image' Godzilla (2001) offers a soft and slightly transparent color palette, blending the two iconic colors of HLJ's color palette - red and blue - into one delightful gradient. The color scheme makes Godzilla look like a bit like a popsicle or a delicious sour candy. Based on the 2001 version of Godzilla from Godzilla Mothra and King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack.

This standard version of the 'HLJ Image' Godzilla (2001) offers a more realistic and metallic color palette, with a black metallic base highlighted by the two iconic colors of HLJ's color palette - red and blue on the front and back of the figure respectively. About 'HLJ Image' Godzilla Sofubi
These new HobbyLink Japan Image versions of these iconic MSS Godzilla Ex series sofubi from the maker CCP are based on the existing 2001 mould, which is based on Godzilla's appearance in the movie Godzilla Mothra and King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack
Like other Vinyl Figures in CCP's soft vinyl figure series, each figure comes with a standard level of articulation, with a movable head, movable arms and movable and legs.
HobbyLink Japan's 30th Anniversary is next year, so to celebrate the occasion, we wanted to create product that would appeal to our figure loving audience and include a little bit of HLJ's story along with it. We've proudly displayed a mix of black, red and blue as part of color palette for our company's entire life. In addition, as a company born in the 'heisei' era, it just made sense to pick a Godzilla from the same period.
We hope these two new 'HLJ Image' Godzilla sofubi can be proudly displayed as part of your collection!
