This is a completed toy designed for children.
This full set of "Wizard" chessmen, as seen in the movie Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, is based on the Lewis chessmen, a 12th-century set that was concealed in a stone chamber in a sand dune on the Isle of Lewis, in the Outer Hebrides, and re-discovered in 1831. The set includes both a "white" (ivory) and "black" (red) set, made of polystone, and the book "The Lewis Chessmen" (in English). Recommended for ages 6 and up (small pieces can be swallowed by young children).
