This is a posable action figure of a character from science-fiction/anime.

The "Greatsaurus" and "Kingsaurus" figures were sold from 1978 to 1981. These collectible toys were made by Popy, a group company from Bandai. The biggest feature of the series was the footprints molded into their feet; as a result, this series is sometimes called the "foot-shaped series." Monsters from "Ultraman" and from various Toho films were part of the series. At the time, the Greatsaurus figures were giant-sized versions of characters from the Kingsaurus series. Greatsaurus Godzilla was later remodeled into lamps, telephone receivers, and other such items, and was sold in high-end shops!

As part of the Godzilla 70th anniversary project, the historic Godzilla soft vinyl "Greatsaurus" figure and his friends and foes have now been faithfully reproduced by Plex using new molds! Godzilla's foe King Ghidorah has three heads, three necks, two long tails, and golden scales covering his entire body, as well as two thick legs and a pair of enormous wings. This figure has been newly sculpted in the rounded retro form that was a hallmark of the "Kingsaurus" series.
