First published in December 2015 with Godzilla vs. Biollante Completion, the 17th installment in the Godzilla film series, this book series has continued steadily, focusing on the Heisei-era Godzilla films.
In 2021, the series took a new turn by covering Showa-era works for the first time, beginning with the third film King Kong vs. Godzilla, followed by the fourth film Mothra vs. Godzilla and the fifth film Ghidorah, the Three-Headed Monster. These entries were well received by Godzilla fans.
