The variety of freight cars in National Railways (JNR) cargo trains thrilled fans during the era. This 6-car set allows you to easily recreate those nostalgic freight trains.

In the JNR era, cargo transportation involved different cars going to various destinations individually, a system known as "car-handling cargo transport." This led to a diverse range of freight cars operating together in a single train.

This set includes six types of freight cars: a covered car, an open car, a hopper car, a refrigerated car, a container car, and a guard car. Enjoy recreating the nostalgic charm of cargo trains from the past.

You can pair this set with various locomotives, including:

• Steam locomotives: D51 series, C11, C12, C56
• Electric locomotives: EF15, EF65 0, ED71, EF80, EF81 standard colors
• Diesel locomotives: DE10 series, DD51 vermilion series, DD54, DF50

It's especially recommended for customers who have purchased the starter set D51 SL Train.
