The game can be played one-on-one, or two-on-two. Choose four cards to use from among the 20 characters used on the cards (in two-on-two games, each player has three cards), and use them to collect materia. Each character has different abilities, and players will use their characters' abilities to fight against opponents. By making full use of the characters' abilities, you can have more strategic fun than simply collecting materia. You can also aim for a big reversal with special actions with powerful effects! There are five types of materia, and the one you have obtained more than your opponent will be yours. The player (or team, in the case of two-on-two) with the most types of materia wins.
