Description
This is a set of injection-plastic detailing parts for use with ship models.
Fujimi brings us a model kit of the 127mm rapid-fire gun from the Takanami-class destroyer! It was developed to improve on the lightweight and quick-firing Mk.42 127mm single-armed gun used by the U.S. Navy up to that point; this enabled not only anti-ship and anti-ground, but also anti-aircraft use. The modern version uses a 62-caliber barrel, and the shield has been changed to a stealth type.
This kit features a barrel without ribs, different from that used on the Kongo type; the barrel can be raised and lowered after completion, and it can be oriented to an elevation angle of up to 85 degrees. The turret can also be swiveled. A base for display is included as well. Add it to your own collection today!
