Description
This is a posable action figure of a character from science-fiction/anime.
Bandai's "Chogokin" Daikumaryu and Gaiking make their triumphant return to celebrate the 50th anniversary of "Gaiking: Legend of Daiku-Maryu"! The Daikumaryu features a detachable head, allowing it to transform into its "Volution Protect" spiral defense mode! The wings are equipped with missile-firing mechanisms, and its tail features articulation at every segment. The crawler treads on the tail are made from die-cast metal, further enhancing the model's satisfyingly substantial weight and feel.
The included Gaiking figure has been 3D-scanned and scaled down to match the proportions of the Daikumaryu, and it can separate into three distinct components -- the Daikumaryu head, the upper torso, and the lower torso -- enabling it to combine directly with the Daikumaryu, and it also comes with a trio of pre-painted mini "Dinosaur Squad" mechs: Skylar, Bazolar, and Nessar! These units can be stored inside the hatch located on the Daikumaryu's underside.
The original 1976 release of the Daikumaryu has been digitally scanned to faithfully recreate every detail, from its overall shape to the specific placement of the chrome-plated parts and its signature color scheme!
