Fujimi brings us a special version of their "Chibi-Maru Kantai" model kit of the Nagato with realistic effect parts!

The "Chibi-Maru Fleet" is a series of "deformed"-style models of many famous ships built by the Japanese Navy and active in the Pacific War, making them easy to build, collect, and display. The self-contained assembly style eliminates the need for glue, and the stickers and multi-colored molded parts eliminate the need for painting.

• This model kit has a parts configuration that can reproduce a waterline-style model.
• The model depicts the ship as she appeared during Operation Sho-Go 1 (the Battle of Leyte Gulf). It features the Type 21 radar atop the bridge, and triple anti-aircraft guns arranged on the main gun turrets.
• Dedicated parts accurately reproduce the bridge's front window layout and shape -- key features that distinguished the Nagato from her sister ship, the Mutsu. 
• Exclusive to the Nagato model, a vertical Type 13 radar unit for the area near the aft lookout station is included.
• High-conformability stickers are included for the Imperial Chrysanthemum crest, funnel markings, radar details, bridge windows, and Hinomaru (rising sun) markings for the shipboard aircraft.
