The "Chibi-Maru" model-kit series features palm-sized, adorable Japanese Navy vessels. The snap-fit design eliminates the need for glue, and multi-color molding and realistic stickers mean that painting isn't required. Compared to traditional ship model kits, it's easy to assemble with fewer parts, making it fun for both adults and children. 

• This kit features a super-deformed reproduction of the I-400 class submarine, comparable in size to a destroyer and the largest in the world at the time.
• The aircraft hangars have been recreated, with three Seiran aircraft in deployed and stowed positions. The front hatch of the aircraft hangar is a separate part that can be opened and closed.
• Photo-etched parts are included that can express fine details that are difficult to reproduce with injection-molded parts.
• Photo-etched parts include handrails, ladders, cranes, and more.
