Description

This is an English-language book or magazine about aircraft and/or aircraft modeling.

Airframe Album No. 19: A Detail Guide to the Fairey Barracuda, a detailed British reference book, is now available.

The Fairey Barracuda was a naval strike aircraft produced by Fairey Aviation and operated by the Royal Navy's Fleet Air Arm, and the prototype made its first flight in 1940.

The aircraft was a monoplane with a fuselage of all-metal construction and high wing arrangement, with hydraulically operated retractable main landing gear.

A total of 2,607 Barracudas of all types were produced, and although they were gradually converted to the TBF, they remained in service with the Royal Navy until the mid-1950s.

This book is a wonderfully detailed reference book with data from drawings, actual flight manuals, parts catalogs, etc. from the period.

It is also packed with information on color profiles, camouflage, markings, etc.

It also includes an example of a 1/72 scale Special Hobby Barracuda Mk. I by Libor Yekle.

A must-have for modelers and Fairey Barracuda enthusiasts.
