Hatsune Miku Nendoroids

Hatsune Miku and the Nendoroid series of figures by Good Smile Company have a long history of collaboration. The Nendoroid project began in 2006 and the first iteration of the Hatsune Miku voicebank software launched shortly after in 2007. This early collaboration meant that Hatsune Miku was amongst the first Nendoroids to be produced - the original Hatsune Miku Nendoroid was number 33 in a series that has now made it to over 2000!

Miku as a character alone has seen nearly a hundred releases in the Nendoroid series after this first release, with new versions for different seasonal outfits and designs based on her songs, and other special collaborations such as Nendoroids of the Racing Miku series and the Snow Miku series, to name but a few of the more popular variants!

Miku seems like a perfect fit for the Nendoroid series - she’s a character that suits the consistent chibi style of the series, and the wide array of releases means you’ll likely be able to find the perfect Miku Figure to display in your collection. The huge amount of Miku releases - as well as other Vocaloid characters like Luka, Len, Rin, Kaito and Meiko - also means it’s easy to mix and match - after all, the joy of Nendoroids is partially in swapping the face pieces and accessories between characters to create your own perfect display!

If you’re just getting started with your Miku collection and looking for a recommendation, we highly recommend the Nendoroid Vampire Miku, based on the iconic song ‘Vampire’ by producer DECO*27. This cute version of the character is based on the visuals from the song’s release, featuring Miku in a cute outfit and wearing a mask to conceal her vampiric fangs!

Hatsune Miku Model Kits - PLAMATEA, MODEROID & More

In recent years, various makers have also been very committed to releasing model kit versions of a variety of Hatsune Miku designs. If you’re a Miku enthusiast who also likes to build what you display - you’re in luck, as it seems like the options for Miku model kits are only set to expand in the future!

Hatsune Miku has had various forays into the Model Kit world, but it took longer than you might think for this to happen. The most notable examples include her crossovers with Kotobikuya’s Frame Arms series in the form of the Frame Music Girl releases that started appearing since 2020. There was even the extra special Frame Artist kit, which rendered Miku with a detailed cyborg design.

It’s also been common for Miku to appear in the MODEROID series, which offered buildable versions of popular Miku designs seen in the posable figure series figma, such as Racing Miku.

In the past couple of months alone, we’ve also had two spectacular kits in the PLAMATEA series - a new model kit series by Good Smile Company and Max Factory that offers accessible builds of characters with pre-molded, snap-fit parts that fit together to make a posable, figure-quality model. Racing Miku 2023 recently joined the PLAMATEA lineup, but we also exclusively retailed the 16th Anniversary edition of Miku, which featured a classic Miku design that also had ornate ‘wings of creation’ - built from the tools that bring Hatsune Miku to life!

Hatsune Miku figma

If you’re looking for something with more classic action figure proportions that you can pose without needing to build it, the figma series might be what you’re looking for when it comes to your display. New figmas of the beloved idol don’t release nearly as frequently as Nendoroids, but there’s plenty of past releases that are well worth considering, as the figma series offers excellent build quality, posability and alternate pieces for creating various displays.

Unfortunately, we don’t have any Miku figmas In Stock right now, but we’ll be sure to keep you posted on our social media whenever new Miku figmas get announced.

Hatsune Miku Scale Figures

If you’re really looking to add something special to your display, you could always invest in one of the many scale figures produced of Hatsune Miku, which offer a luxury display piece at a large size and often a higher cost.

From our currently available Scale Figure lineup, it’s easy to recommend the 1/6 Hatsune Miku: NT Style Casual Wear figure, a huge figure that has miku in a cute, casual outfit and a simple pose! It’s perfect for those looking for a simple Miku to display with pride.

But if you’re looking for something more dramatic, perhaps the 1/7 Hatsune Miku Gao Shan Liu Shui Ver. is more your speed - this scale figure is one of many examples of Miku crossing over with myth and classic design traditions with a figure that references the Chinese legend of Gao Shan Liu Shui! This overly flashy yet traditional design emphasizes Miku’s musical skill and grace in an elaborate and meticulous sculpt!

Even these two recommendations don’t even begin to highlight the variety of Miku scale figures available - new designs are announced all the time by makers like Furyu, COCODesign, Good Smile and more - and we’re committed to keeping up with as many of them as possible!
