The CAT 6060 is one of the many mining excavators from Caterpillar Inc., known for their large construction machines. This mining excavator is a large-scale vehicle developed for efficient use in large-scale open-pit mining operations. The bucket payload can be as high as 61 tons; it is supposed to be used in combination with a truck with a payload of 250 tons. It's equipped with a 12-cylinder diesel engine that produces 2,256hp. Due to its reliability, stability and sturdy construction, it is widely used in mines around the world.
This die-cast display model of the CAT 6060 front excavator comes in metal can packaging, and it's an entirely new mold too! The thick and powerful arm unique to front excavators used for mining, the unique body shape and its mechanism are fully reproduced; the arms are movable.
