This is a injection plastic and metal radio or remote-controlled car model.


Keyence is best known as a maker of high-end sensors and other equipment for many different industries. Their staff also likes to have fun and designs "toys" as a side-line. And what a toy this is. Their experience in miniature electronics shows in this 1/87 (HO) scale tractor trailer unit. We will just cover the key points:


  • 5-channel Digital proportional steering and throttle control.
  • Two "Demonstration Modes" where the vehicle drives itself.
  • Memory mode that can replay a drivers actions
  • Headlights (with high/low beams), turn signals and brake lights can be set to illuminate or flash
  • The display case doubles as the charging stand. Charging of the unit takes about 1 hour.
  • Running time on full charge is 30 minutes.
