Description
This is an injection-plastic ship model kit.
For whatever reason, Tamiya has reissued their 1962 1/800 Shinano kit. Yes, it's as bad as you'd expect something 40+ years old to be! No details, soft toolings, poor fit -- here's a real slice of modeling history, probably the only reason that you'd want to purchase this limited reissue. Full hull model with display stand. Even the instruction sheet is a reprint of the original.
