Description
This is a train model intended for display purposes only (i.e., it does not run on a track).
We have turned the "115 Series 300 Numbered Suburban Electric Train," which was introduced by the Japanese National Railways in 1973 and remained active until recent years, into a plastic model kit.
The [Kuha115 Kit] includes one leading car, Kuha115. Enjoy combining it with separately sold intermediate car sets.
Features of Kuha115:
- Includes parts for both odd and even directions, such as jumper plug receptacles and skirt components.
- Adopts a canopy shape with detailed molding of metal fittings and overlapping fabric.
- Designed with separate prisms and glass for the destination display, allowing the destination display to be visible behind the glass.
- The driver's cab section is separately molded, with precise internal detailing.
- Offers a choice between circulation-type and cassette-type toilet tanks.
- Features a hybrid structure for underfloor equipment, combining relief units with separate parts for ease of assembly and precision.
- Includes parts such as disc brakes on the trucks to enhance the appearance for display purposes.
- Prepared with guide holes on the roof for reproducing the position of the ventilator on early cars.
- Equipped with an open/close gimmick for the window glass of the box seats, allowing for selection between "half-open/small open."
- Includes four types of horns (shutter type, slit type, with cover, rotating) and shield beams with anti-climbers as bonuses.
- Comes with decals containing destination displays and other details.
*This kit alone cannot be operated. For operation, please purchase commercially available running trucks and couplers in addition to this product.
