Victor Hugo's novel "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" was published in 1931. It was set in Paris in the 15th century. The main character is Quasimodo, a baby abandoned in front of Notre Dame Cathedral and saved by Frollo; the child grew up to become Notre Dame's bell-ringer. This novel depicts the human nature of the homely Quasimodo, his adoptive father Frollo, and the beautiful dancer Esmeralda; it has been made into several films and is popular worldwide.
Doll & Hobby brings us a special edition of this 1/8-scale model kit of the Hunchback himself! This is a masterpiece kit with an eerie atmosphere that realistically reproduces Quasimodo's appearance in the famous scene where he's captured and exposed in the square. Quasimodo's pose and facial expression, as well as the detailed ropes and wooden platform, make this kit an amazing display piece when assembled and painted! This kit is easy to assemble with just 25 parts; a backboard is also included for display, and the package illustration is based on package art from the Aurora era.
