Description
This is a fully completed and painted figure.
Yoshitaka Amano's "Guin" figure has been such a hit for Kotobukiya that they have now released it as a fully-painted and assembled figure. This is a cold-cast (a.k.a. "Polystone") figure formed from a plaster-like compound that lends weight and presence to the figure -- very different from the pre-painted and assembled soft-vinyl items sometimes seen which end up having a toy-like atmosphere. The downside is that this figure will break if dropped, just like porcelain.
Each figure is hand painted and has a "wash" applied to darken the crevices.
Each piece is hand-inspected by both Kotobukiya and is shipped in a custom-fit Styrofoam container. All shipping of this item from HLJ will be in extremely well-padded boxes, and will be insured.
