The XM-706 is a four-wheeled amphibious light armored vehicle designed by the American Cadillac Gage Company in the early 1960s as the V-100 Commando. The E2 type used by the U.S. Air Force has been deployed since the 1960s, and was used for base defense, reconnaissance, explosives disposal, etc. This vehicle, which was retired in the late 1980s, could be equipped with a variety of weapons, but the type equipped with a single-seat turret was equipped with one M2 Browning 50-caliber machine gun and one 7.62mm M60 machine gun. The crew consisted of two people, a driver and a machine gunner, with a maximum crew of ten.
