About the Real Vehicle: The M4 is a medium tank developed by the United States during World War II. It was supplied not only to the U.S. but also to various Allied nations, becoming one of the most iconic tanks of the war. Development began using the chassis of the M3 medium tank, which had been in mass production since 1941, equipping it with a fully rotating turret. In October, it was formalized as the M4 medium tank. By February 1942, large-scale production, leveraging America's industrial capacity, commenced. Variations arose due to differences in specifications from various manufacturers, each designated by different model names. The first to enter mass production was the M4A1, which featured a cast upper hull. This design, with fewer manufacturing steps than the welded hull M4, allowed for quicker production ramp-up. The early models were equipped with the 75mm Gun M3 with a caliber of 37.5. It used a Continental 9-cylinder air-cooled gasoline engine. Three companies were responsible for production, and by November 1943, over 6,000 units had been produced in total.
