This is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit.
The Hummel self-propelled artillery was built by the German Army in World War II, with a 15cm howitzer mounted on the Panzer III/IV chassis. An open-top battle room was added to the body of the Panzer IV F type, with the Panzer III transmission and equipped with the sFH18 heavy howitzer. Completed in 1943, it was active on each front from the Battle of Kursk to the end of the war. The engine was mounted in the center of the hull, and it had 10mm armor plating. Its maximum range was 13,000m. Because the ammunition was carried separately from the charge, it could carry six crewmen -- one more than usual. By the end of the war, 714 of this unit had been produced and saw action on various fronts.
This kit from Dragon uses the popular Neo Track for ease of assembly and realism. The hull reproduces the flat shape of the front part of the battle room, a distinguishing feature of the late-production type. The interior is fully reproduced, as is the central 15cm howitzer. Photo-etched parts are included too. Order yours today!
