This is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit.

At the end of World War II, from December 1944 to January 1945, the Battle of the Bulge took place between the German and Allied forces in the Ardennes forest near Antwerp, Belgium. The German Army fielded about 20 divisions, including an infantry unit used as a spearhead as well as a tank division, with approximately 500,000 troops. One of them, the Piper Combat Team of the SS 6th Tank Army, included the latest Tiger II and King Tiger tanks. The 3rd Parachute Division (Fallschirmjager), known as the elite unit of the German Army, preceded the Piper Combat Team to boldly challenge the Allied forces.

This model kit from Dragon combines the Piper Combat Team's King Tiger with the 3rd Parachute Division soldiers. The King Tiger features a Henschel turret with a long-barreled 88mm gun and inclined armor; the road wheels, sprocket wheels idler wheels and one-piece tracks are all accurately modeled.
