This is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit.

The StuG III, which uses the chassis of the Panzer III and has its main gun mounted in a fixed fighting compartment, was easy to produce and was capable of carrying a larger gun, so approximately 10,000 of each type were built by the end of the war. Among them, the final production type, and also the most-produced type, was the G type. Production began in December 1942 and continued with minor improvements until the end of the war. Its main gun was a 48-caliber 7.5assault gun StuK40. Nearly 8,000 vehicles were produced, and it continued to be active on each front until the end of the war, including being assigned to tank units in the face of unforeseen circumstances.

This model kit from Dragon models the initial production type of the final specification G type. This kit uses NEO Tracks that are easy to assemble, and can easily reproduce the natural hanging of the tracks. The finish of the lower part of the hull is complemented by the delicately reproduced road wheels and sprocket wheels; the upper part of the hull, fighting compartment and engine deck are recreated using slide molds. The representation of the bolts in each part also contributes to the sense of reality. The main gun barrel is also an integral part using a slide mold. The gun barrel can be moved up and down after completion, and photo-etched parts are included for the air deflector and more.
