This is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit.
The Tiger I heavy tank, developed by Germany in World War II, began production in 1942, and continued until August 1944. The total number of tanks produced during that time was only about 1,300, but improvements and modifications continued, and there were small differences in specifications. The 88mm gun boasted overwhelming power as an anti-tank gun, and was used to counter the heavily armored Allied and Soviet tanks. It also adopted heavy armor, including 100mm front armor that repelled Allied attacks. After its appearance, it became a force to be reckoned with for the Allied forces until the end of the war. The Tiger I was first sent to the Eastern Front, where it was struggling against Soviet heavy tanks, and then to the German Afrika Korps on the North African front. In 1943, the early Tiger I models deployed to the 504th Heavy Tank Battalion were deployed along with the 1st Company to the North African front, and the vehicles of the 2nd Company were deployed in Sicily, Italy.
This 1/72-scale model kit from Waltersons reproduces the early production version of the Tiger I, one of the most powerful tanks. used by the German Army during World War II. It models the Tiger I of the 504th Heavy Tank Battalion, which deployed and operated the Tiger I on the North African front in 1943. This kit features a reduced number of parts, making it easy for beginning modelers to work on. The reproduction of the turret, body, and suspension is very realistic when completed; the exhaust pipes, engine deck, and turret details unique to the early version are faithfully modeled. The tracks are a belt type that is easy to assembled; the wires, smoke dischargers, and spare tracks equipped on the hull are separate parts, giving the finished product an excellent finish. The turret can be rotated after completion; the commander's hatch can be assembled opened or closed, and a tank crew figure is also included. Order yours today!
