The Panzer IV was a German tank that was highly trusted by soldiers during World War II. Initially, it was planned as an infantry support tank, but due to its large body size and the ability to be modified according to the battle situation, it continued to be active as a main battle tank throughout the war. Many types of the Panzer IV were made due to its long production period. Among them, the F type is the last of the original support tank types. Since a type equipped with a long-barreled 75mm gun appeared in the middle of production, the short-barrel type was distinguished from it by being called the F1 type.
