The NATO Tiger Association started with a French proposal in 1961, when NATO was formed and the Cold War began in earnest. Many of the operational aircraft in the Air Force of the Allies countries within the treaty were unique to their own country, and it was an organization to informally measure solidarity. The tiger mascot of the Tiger Meet Exercise is now reproduced as a 1/72-scale unpainted, unassembled resin figure! Two figures are included: one in a cheering pose, and another lying down and watching the proceedings.
