This is a plastic military vehicle model.
About the actual vehicleThe Stryker is the U.S. Army's current armored vehicle with wheels.
It was developed based on the Piranha III developed in Switzerland.
Each of the eight tires is equipped with an independent suspension, and the vehicle can switch between eight-wheel drive or four-wheel drive.
Equipped with a diesel engine that produces 350 hp, it has high driving performance, reaching speeds of 100 km/h on level surfaces and 60 km/h on uneven terrain.
In addition to the troop carrier type, a number of derivative types have been built.
The first prototype was completed in November 2016, and deployment began in 2017 with the M1296IFV Dragoon.
It is a firepower-enhanced version of the basic vehicle, equipped with a 30mm Mk.44 Bushmaster II in an unmanned turret mounted on top of the vehicle body and a 7.62mm machine gun on the coaxial.
It began troop deployment in 2017 and is in service with the 2nd Cavalry Regiment stationed in Germany.
About the ModelThe model is a 1/72 scale reproduction of the U.S. Army M1296 Stryker IFV Dragoon.
The model is pre-painted and comes in a clear case for collection and display.
It can be displayed as is.
The model, which uses the proven Dragon modeling technique to reproduce new details, is approximately 9cm in length and realistically reproduces the characteristic style of the 8-wheeled vehicle.
The underside of the chassis also features the suspension structure, and the different mechanisms of the front and rear wheels can be seen.
The wheels are made of DS material, which also conveys a sense of texture.
The turret and 30mm cannon mounted on the top of the vehicle body are also mechanically finished.
The shape of the turret and the bolts are also very impressive.
The model is a reproduction of a vehicle belonging to the 1st Squadron of the 2nd Cavalry Regiment stationed in Germany in 2020.
It is colored in white camouflage to match the winter in Europe.
The vehicle is also equipped with personal equipment such as a sack.
The finish of the model is full of realism.
