This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.
The CH-53E Super Stallion is a large helicopter developed by Sikorsky in the United States for the U.S. Marine Corps and Navy. The Super Stallion was developed as a large transport helicopter, and the MH-53E Sea Dragon was born as a variation of the Super Stallion, which incorporates a mine-sweeping device. The aircraft's appearance is characterized by large sponsons on both sides of the aircraft, which are also used as fuel tanks, making it possible to carry out long mine-sweeping operations. It's powered by three T64GE-416/419 turboprop engines. It began development in 1980, and made its first flight in 1981. It is also operated by the HM-14 Vanguard, a U.S. Navy helicopter mine countermeasures squadron established in 1978. It also played an active role in disaster relieve after Hurricane Maria hit the Caribbean in 2017.
This easy-to-assemble kit from Italeri is released by Platz with a Japanese instruction manual. The illustration of the chimera on the sponson is reproduced with decals. The powerful aircraft is divided into left and right parts to accurately expressed its shape, and the interior includes the floor panels and more. The minesweeping equipment is also faithfully reproduced. Each rotor blade is a separate part, and the rotor base is also reproduced. This kit also comes with a masking sheet for painting the window frames. Decals by Cartograf are also included! Order yours now!
