Description
This is an injection-plastic jet aircraft model kit.
The long-awaited "short nose" version of the F-4 is now available! The F-4J has a stronger radar, main landing gear structure, and engine than the F-4B, the first mass-produced F-4. It made its first flight in May 1966, deployment began in December of that year, and 522 aircraft were produced by December 1972. In 1968, it also participated in the Vietnam War, and many "MiG Killers" were born. Decals are included for the VF-114 (114th Fighter Squadron) based on the aircraft carrier Kitty Hawk, and the VF-21 (21st Fighter Squadron) "Freelancers."
