This is an injection-plastic field gun model kit.

The M-1 57mm gun is an anti-tank gun produced under license by the U.S. military in 1941, when it adopted the British Ordnance QF 6 anti-tank gun. The M-1 was produced from 1942 to 1945, with a total of 15,637 guns produced during that time. Two-thirds of these were given to the U.S. Army, and the rest were given to the British, Soviet, and Free French Armies as Lend-Lease. This gun was deployed on the European front, but at the time of deployment, ammunition production was not in time, and as a result many units were forced to use only armor-piercing bullets even when HE bullets were required. It was not highly rated as it rarely encountered German tanks on the battlefield. At the end of the war, the M-1 was judged to lack firepower as an anti-tank gun, and as it was towed, it had poor maneuverability. As self-propelled guns, which were more powerful and could be operated flexibly, became the mainstay, the M-1 was quickly replaced and retired after the war. The M-1, which is no longer used by the U.S. military, was received well when it was transferred to South Korea, Taiwan, Central and South American countries, etc., and was especially active in the defense line of the South Korean military during the early stages of the Korean War.
