This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.

This is a plastic model assembly kit that replicates the F4U Corsair, the American naval fighter from World War II, in 1/72 scale.

The kit specifically models the F4U-1D variant.
The parts of the kit are molded in plastic that has been color-matched to the shade of the US Navy aircraft, FS15042. The finished model has an overall length of approximately 140mm and a wingspan of about 170mm, accurately reproducing the unique reverse-gull wing design and fuselage shape down to the panel lines.

The canopy is made of clear parts, allowing you to look into the cockpit even after assembly, and a pilot figure that fits in the cockpit is included.
Additionally, the landing gear can be assembled in either the deployed or retracted position.

Furthermore, this kit also replicates the engine. After assembly, the cowling can be removed to enjoy the mechanical atmosphere of the model.
Markings are provided as decals.
