Description
This is an injection-plastic jet aircraft model kit.
The U-2 is a high-altitude reconnaissance aircraft designed by Lockheed's top secret development department "Skunk Works" and operated by the U.S. Air Force, CIA, and Taiwan Air Force. It was developed based on the F-104, and made its maiden flight in 1955. It can fly in the stratosphere at an altitude of 20,000 meters or more, and was active in gathering information on Communist areas such as the former Soviet Union and Cuba during the Cold War. The U.S. Air Force is still operating a refurbished version of this aircraft.
