Description
This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.
The Tempest F.6 was developed for the Pacific Front in World War II, but because the war ended before it was launched, a smaller number were produced compared to the Mk.V. The features of the F.6 were its tropical air filter, a large radiator to support the high output of its Saber V engine, a carburetor intake and oil cooler intake equipped on the leading edge of the wing root, similart to that seen on the Mk.II. The F.6 was deployed in Cyprus, Iraq, Egypt and other places after the war; it was the last reciprocating fighter of the Royal Air Force.
The leading edge intake at the base of the main wing and the tropical filter under the center of the fuselage are newly molded; bomb and rocket parts are also included, as are decals for three Royal Air Force versions. Place your order today!
