This is an injection-plastic jet aircraft model kit.
The T-39 Saberliner is a medium-sized business jet developed by North American Aviation, designed according to the specifications of the U.S. Air Force's multipurpose training aircraft. The T-39 was named "Saberliner" because its main and tail wings resembled North American's F-86 Saber fighter; it began operation for the U.S. Air Force in 1959 as a general-purpose transport and training aircraft. It was also used by the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps. A private derivative was also developed and produced by Rockwell, which merged with North American Aviation. In Japan, until the 1980s, PACAF and FAA-affiliated T-39As could be seen at Yokota Air Base.
This model kit from Sword is a completely new mold! Includes photo-etched parts, painting mask stickers, and decals for two versions (U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps). Order yours today!
