This is an injection-plastic jet aircraft model kit.
Used widely throughout the world, the Lockheed T-33 Shooting Star jet trainer gets an all-new-tooling release in 1/72 scale from Platz! Highly-detailed, and a kit that many have been waiting for. The Japan Air Self-Defense Force also used this aircraft for a long time (they were even built in Japan under license by Kawasaki Heavy Industries!), so it's very popular in Japan, too. Decals by Cartograf cover what looks to be every JASDF squadron that used the type.
