This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.
The Beriev Be-6 "Madge" was a gull-winged, twin engine flying boat designed by the Soviet Beriev OKB. The aircraft first flew in the 1950s, and 19 variants were developed during its production cycle. 123 aircraft were eventually built.
The Be-6 was capable of accomplishing a wide variety of missions, such as long-range maritime reconnaissance, coastal and supply line patrols, torpedo/bombing strikes, mine-laying, and transport operations. The Soviet Navy Be-6s remained in service until the late 1960s.
This kit contains more than 240 parts molded in grey and clear plastic, and includes decals. Completed model measures 355.6mm long with a 458.5mm wingspan.
