The RDS-4 Tatyana was the first Soviet nuclear bomb tested at the Semipalatinsk Test Site in 1953. Its nuclear output is the same scale as the 28-kiloton TNT explosion, and the mass-production bomb based on the RDS-4 became the Soviet Union's first tactical nuclear bomb, mounted on bombers such as the Tu-4 and Tu-16; it was deployed until 1966. In 1954, in Totskoye, South Ural, it was used in a military exercise where about 45,000 soldiers were mobilized to rehearse the possibility of military action, such as breaking through an enemy's line of defense, after detonating a nuclear bomb in the air. It was also used in combat exercises. Get this kit for your own collection now!
