Description
This is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit.
The German Sd.Kfz. 231 6 Rad (Wheel) was a six-wheeled armored car armed with a 20mm machine cannon and MG34 machine gun, and was Germany's first heavy armored car. Even though it had six wheels, off-road performance was poor, and it was relegated to police duties after 1940.
Italeri's kit features nice detail, with all on-vehicle equipment provided as separate parts, although the hatches are molded in the closed position. Decals are provided for four versions, although only three are shown on the packaging.
