This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.
The Saunders Roe Cloud amphibious aircraft was created at the turn of the 1920s and 1930s. It was primarily designed as a training, patrol, and rescue aircraft and was constructed as with a mixed structure. The fuselage with cross braces was made of metal, while the wings were wooden. The aircraft was originally powered by two Wright J-6 Whirlwind radial cylinder engines. The crew numbered two and the version for civilians could carry up to 8 passengers. A prototype took to the air on July 16, 1930.
This kit contains parts molded in grey and clear plastic, and includes decals, resin parts, and photo-etched parts.
