This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.
The Scottish Aviation Twin Pioneer is an STOL transport aircraft designed and manufactured by Scottish Aviation in the 1950s, for both military and civilian use. It was a high-wing monoplane equipped with two star engines, a fixed tail wheel landing gear, three vertical tails and a rudder. The prototype first flew in 1955. In the private sector, it was used all over the world, including Australia, Switzerland, Indonesia, Iran and Nigeria as well as England. The aircraft numbered VH-AIS was manufactured in 1958, and in 1998 its livery was updated with a tropical theme with palm tree illustrations; it is currently being prepared for flight again in Kuminya, Queensland, in eastern Australia.
Valom's model kit of this seldom-seen aircraft features beautifully molded parts and easy assembly; it comes with photo-etched parts and decals for two versions. Order yours today!
