Description

This is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit.

The Type III was one of Germany's main battle tanks during World War II. It first appeared in 1937, and many improved versions were released after that time. Among them, the N type is equipped with a short-barrel 7.5cm gun based on the J, L and M types. From June 1942 to August 1943, 663 of the N type were produced. Thirty-seven further tanks were remodeled into N types after being returned for repairs until 1944, making the total number of N types produced 700. The N type was a powerful weapon on the battlefield, and was deployed to the North African Front to the 501st Heavy Tank Battalion as a support for the Tiger I.

This kit from Dragon reproduces the N type tank that was deployed to the German-African legion on the North African Front. The shape of the rear turret box that's unique to this tank is reproduced by slide molding; it also features accurate reproduction of the road wheels, sprocket wheels and idler wheels, with new parts for NEO tracks for a realistic undercarriage. Natural sagging and damage is also possible to express with the NEO tracks. The engine deck hatch and armor plate are molded into the hull, and the turret reproduces the 7.5cm gun and coaxial machine gun with the muzzle open. Photo-etched parts are included for the grille mesh and other parts, and the commander's hatch can be assembled either opened or closed. Order yours now!
