Description

This is an injection-plastic figure set for use with military dioramas or individual display.

The Punic Wars were a series of wars fought between the Roman Republic and Carthage for supremacy in the Mediterranean Sea between the 3rd and 2nd centuries BC. "Punic" means "Phoenician" in Latin, which is what the Romans called the Carthaginians. Carthage was a colonial city-state founded by the Phoenicians on the north coast of Africa, and for more than 100 years starting in the mid-3rd century BC, it waged war against the city-state of Rome over three period. Carthage was a maritime nation whose citizens joined the navy rather than the army, and therefore they employed many Libyan mercenaries from North Africa. Equipped with large shields, helmets, and long spears, Libyan mercenaries fought in close formations known as phalanxes.

This set of unpainted figures from Ultima Ratio is recommended for diorama fans and those who enjoy historical miniature war games! The set contains three figures each in nine different poses, for a total of 27 figures. Order yours today!
