This is an injection-plastic kit of a science-fiction/anime item.

The two-seated Valkyrie VF-1D, piloted by Hikaru Ichijo in the first episode of the TV anime "Super Dimension Fortress Macross," is now part of the "PLAMAX" 1/72-scale model-kit series from Max Factory! Even though this kit has a limited number of parts, it's loaded with rich detail, allowing you to quickly build a finished product that you'll be proud to display on your shelf! The seams between the parts have been placed as inconspicuously as possible, and ample glue margins have been left to ensure each unit fits securely into its designated position. This ensures that the positions and angles of the parts are precisely determined, resulting in a model with an extremely high sense of rigidity after completion. The head, cockpit area, and upper fuselage, among other parts, are constructed using new molds exclusive to the D-type, and seated figures of Hikaru Ichijo and Lynn Minmay are included that can be placed in the cockpit. Each part is molded in one of five colors, allowing you to assemble it and then apply stickers and decals for a realistic finish.
