It was developed by Norinco Co.,Ltd., has a complicated mechanism of eight-wheel drive and eight-wheel independent suspension, and is capable of amphibious performance. Its engine is a German Duetz BF6M1015C diesel engine. It boasts a top speed of 100km/h and a range of action of 800km. It has full amphibious performance, and is propelled by water jets for navigation in water. Various types are available based on the body, one of which is the PLA ZTL-11 Assault Vehicle. The car-compatible part is equipped with a swivel turret, and the main gun is a 105mm and 7.62 coaxial machine gun. Bolted applique armor is also attached to the hull; it is active in anti-tank missions and fire support missions.
