The PLA ZSL-10 is an eight-wheeled armored vehicle that was developed by the People's Republic of China in the 1990s, and was formalized in 2009. Developed by Norinco Co., Ltd., it has a complicated mechanism of eight-wheel-drive with eight-wheel independent suspension, and it also performs amphibiously, propelled by water jets. It's equipped with a German Deutz BF6M1015C diesel engine. It boasts a top speed of 100km/h, and has a range of 800km. Various versions have been developed, including armored personnel carrier types and infantry fighting vehicle types. In addition to being used by the People's Republic of China Army, it's also exported to Argentina, Thailand and Venezuela; it also participates in the United Nations peacekeeping forces.
