This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.

Arma Hobby brings us a new 1/72-scale model kit of the P-51K Mustang! This kit features realistic reproductions of the cockpit interior, landing gear wells, and other fine details, and includes decals for three versions: one each for the U.S. European theater, U.S. Philippine theater, and Royal Air Force. A paint mask sticker is included too.

A wide variety of optional parts are included, such as two types of exhaust pipes, a propeller, a gunsight and cockpit, a vertical stabilizer with or without dorsal fins, and two types of horizontal stabilizers (with fabric covering and all-metal elevators). Also included are bombs, two types of drop tanks, three types of canopies, reconnaissance aircraft-style parts, and multiple antennas, with the landing flaps being separate parts. By combining these optional parts, it is possible to recreate almost any P-51D/K that appeared in World War II!

An injection-molded assembly jig for landing gear mounting angles is also available. By scanning the QR code in the instruction manual, you can download free 3D-printer data for accessory parts that can be used with this kit.
