The F-5B combat capable advance trainer was developed from the F-5A single seat fighter and is flown by most countries that have F-5As in service. With the exception of the two nose mounded cannons, the F-5B can carry the same as the CF-5B and has become Canada's standard advanced trainer being modernised with updated electronics and instruments.
