Description

This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.


The F-15 Reporter is the last reciprocating engine photo-reconnaissance aircraft designed and manufactured for the US Air Force, based on the photo-reconnaissance variant of the Northrop P-61 Black Widow night fighter. Despite its limited production numbers and relatively short service period, it was active in the Korean War, and the aerial photographs of the Korean Peninsula taken by the F-15 were used for intelligence gathering and map-making.

This product is a completely new mold injection kit and includes painting mask seals and photo-etched parts. The included Cartograf decals reproduce 3 aircraft from the 8th Photographic Reconnaissance Squadron stationed at Johnson US Air Base (now Iruma Air Base) in 1947. When completed, it will be approximately 213mm in length and 279mm in wingspan.

Released under the A & A Models brand by Modelsvit, new tooling.
