Description

This is a resin-cast military vehicle model kit.

Resin parts with etched and 3D printed parts, and two types of British 12th Royal Cavalry decals are included.

The Maurice CS9 Light Armored Car was an armored vehicle used by the British Army in World War II.

This vehicle was built on a Maurice-produced C9 4x2 15-cwt truck chassis with a riveted body, and was equipped with a two-seat open-top turret on the top.

Armament included a Boys anti-tank rifle and a Bren light machine gun or a Vickers machine gun.

It was also equipped with No. 19 radio equipment.

The prototype was tested in 1936 and deployed in 1938 after 99 were ordered.

Thirty-eight of these were used by the 12th Royal Cavalry in the Battle of France, but were destroyed or abandoned.

Another 30 were supplied to the 11th Light Cavalry and were deployed to the North African front.

Released by Special Hobby's resin kit brand, Planet Model.
